About Vulvodynia

You shouldn't have to suffer in silence

Vulvodynia is chronic vulval pain — burning, stinging, rawness — that lasts three months or more with no identifiable cause. It affects an estimated 1 in 4 to 6 women at some point in their lives.

Because it has no universally agreed cause, treatment varies widely — and options are limited. Many patients find that standard approaches don't work well enough for them.

Veriona exists to connect you with a prescriber who can discuss the options available to you, including preparations from our partner pharmacy.

Common questions answered

What is vulvodynia?
Vulvodynia is persistent vulval pain — burning, stinging, sharpness, or rawness — that lasts three months or more without an identifiable cause. Is vulvodynia treatable?
Vulvodynia is a complex condition with no single universal treatment. A GPhC-registered prescriber can talk through the options that may be relevant to your situation.
